Integrative Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a natural, focused state, much like flow state, where the mind becomes highly receptive to suggestion and change. In this state, the brain enters rhythms that support neuroplasticity, our innate capacity to rewire thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors.

I think of hypnosis as mindfulness of the subconscious. Instead of pushing for change from the surface, we gently access the quieter, deeper layers of the mind — the ones that unconsciously shape most of our daily choices — and introduce new pathways for transformation.

In our sessions, we work at the root. I weave together personalized suggestion, metaphor, guided imagination, somatic anchoring, and natural language processing to facilitate lasting transformation in both the subconscious mind and the nervous system.

All of my hypnosis work is grounded in the process of neuroplastic change with embodied, somatic integration: what I call my signature process as Sense, Equalize, Embody, and Distribute. In this way, the shifts you experience in trance don’t fade when the session ends; they take root in your body and continue to grow in your daily life.

You’ll also learn self-hypnosis techniques you can continue practicing on your own, helping you build inner skillfulness and support ongoing repatterning long after our sessions.

What can my hypnosis help with?

My hypnosis can support a wide range of needs, from releasing old patterns to unlocking new potential. Common areas include:

  • Smoking cessation and freedom from addictions, cravings, or compulsions

  • Stress and anxiety relief

  • Releasing fears or phobias

  • Improving sleep and rest

  • Inner parts work: integrating fragmented or lost aspects of self

  • Resolving incomplete impulses, past memories, or unprocessed emotions stuck in fight–flight–freeze

  • Pain management (where medically appropriate) and support for menopausal hot flashes

  • Accessing deep insight and inner wisdom for life decisions

  • Cultivating self-empowerment and confidence

  • Enhancing performance in work, sports, or creative pursuits

Hypnosis can also evoke states similar to psychedelic journeys—opening insight, creativity, and expanded awareness—but without the potential side effects. Integrated with somatic work, these experiences become grounded in the body, creating lasting change.

Your subconscious drives most of your life, holding onto implicit impulses and memories. Hypnosis helps you drive it consciously.

Hypnosis FAQ

  • Your brain is always changing. Even while you sleep, it’s rewiring, reconfiguring, and forming new connections. Each time you recall a memory, practice a skill, or shift your focus, you’re participating in this living process—what neuroscience calls neuroplasticity.

Integrative Hypnosis gives you a way to engage this process consciously. These sessions aren’t about mind control or quick fixes; they’re about harnessing the brain’s natural capacity to reorganize itself. In a relaxed, highly focused state of awareness, hypnosis helps quiet the analytical mind and bring your deeper, intuitive intelligence online. From this state, you can begin to rewire old patterns, beliefs, or nervous system responses—strategies that once helped you survive but no longer serve your life today.

Modern research shows hypnosis can support a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and chronic pain to phobias, habits, and more. Yet this practice is far older than the science. Trance-based healing has existed for millennia, from the temples of Asklepios in Ancient Greece and Rome to indigenous and spiritual traditions across the world.

  • Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind, you could say similar to a flow state or the few minutes of space between sleeping and waking. Hypnosis is a form of meditative trance that accesses your deep subconscious layers for real change. This importantly means that you are still fully aware and conscious during hypnosis. You always remain in control.

Whether online or in-person, you’ll sit (not lay down) comfortably in a chair with your head back and your feet on the floor below you.

Otherwise, you’ll only need a true willingness to want to make the change.

  • Yes. Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of awareness that you’re in full control of. It’s similar to a flow state where we lose track of time and access our peak performance.

It’s not mind control but is a form of subconscious meditation or focused awareness. You remain fully awake, fully aware, seated upright, and in full conscious control throughout.

  • This isn’t one-size-fits-all hypnosis nor is it a magic cure gimmick. What makes my approach unique is the depth, precision, and integration behind it.

I combine both Ericksonian (indirect, conversational) and directive forms of hypnosis depending on what’s most effective for your system. I don’t use scripts. Every session is customized based on your individual needs, your nervous system, and how your subconscious is wired.

All of my hypnosis work is grounded in the process of neuroplastic change with embodied, somatic integration: what I call my signature process as Recognize, Reappraise, Repattern, and Reinforce. In this way, the shifts you experience in trance don’t fade when the session ends; they take root in your body and continue to grow in your daily life.

I adapt to your primary sensory processing style and hierarchy so that the hypnosis is structured in a way that your mind naturally receives best. I also work with you to uncover the deeper root of the craving or compulsion, so the suggestions aren’t just surface level but carefully crafted for your unique patterns and inner motivations.

I also combine mindfulness, breathwork, and presence-based practices to help create the most receptive internal state for neuroplasticity and long-term change.

My hypnosis sessions are online over Zoom from anywhere in the world or offered in-person in New York, NY. NYC in-person bookings have a higher rate than those online for the studio space.

Like all my work, hypnosis is equally effective in either setting, you just need to properly have your video setup for visibility and a chair where your back is supported, and both hands and legs can rest on something (you should not be laying down).
